I am honored to greet you at the 39th International Exhibition of Agriculture, Food, Aquaculture and Agro-Industry Saudi Agriculture 2022! Over the years, this industrial exhibition, largest in the Middle East, has been demonstrating achievements in agriculture, food industry, agribusiness equipment and technology. This year it is attended by more than 50 Russian companies producing grain, meat, dairy, fat and oil products, confectionery, fish and seafood, along with specialized equipment. It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia is one of Russia’s strategic partners in the agricultural industry. Our country is interested in expanding its presence in the Saudi Arabian market. Items with promising export potential include meat, dairy, confectionery and other food products well-known worldwide for their high quality. Expanded supplies of Russian halal products with their steady production increase could become an additional driver for developing trade cooperation. The Saudi Agriculture exhibition offers manufacturers with ample opportunities to present their products and services, and find new markets. I have no doubt that the event will be instrumental for developing partnership between the businesses of our countries. For its part, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture will continue actively supporting the participation of Russian exporters in other large industry events.

Dear participants of Saudi Agriculture 2022!
It is a great pleasure for me to greet you at the 39th International Exhibition of Agriculture, Land Amelioration and Agroindustry! Producers from various countries have been presenting their latest agro-industrial achievements at Saudi Agriculture since 1983. With the continuous support of the Agriculture Ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Exhibition promotes the development of the country's agricultural sector and strengthens international partnership. Saudi Agriculture provides opportunities for companies around the world to showcase their high-quality products, innovative solutions and equipment, which contributes not only to the agro-industrial development, but also to the world’s prosperity. This year, Russian producers take part in Saudi Agriculture under the brand “Made in Russia” for the first time. Russian companies are ready to offer quality products, which are highly valued not only in Russia, but also in many other countries of the world. Over the past few years, Russian products have been steadily winning the hearts of consumers in the East, including Saudi Arabia. Thus, Russian agricultural exports to Saudi Arabia reached a historical record and amounted to 691 million USD in 2020. I am confident that Saudi Agriculture 2022 will become a place for strengthening business ties between Russian producers and their business partners in the Middle East.

Russian Export Center JSC (REC) is a public institute for export support established with the assistance of the Government of the Russian Federation. The Center renders “one-stop-shop” service to exporters providing financial and non-financial support and interacting with relevant ministries and agencies.

In the normal course of its activity, REC provides a wide range of services to producers of non-primary goods at all stages of the export cycle, interacts with relevant executive authorities, prepares proposals for improving business activities related to the export and foreign economic activities, regularly interacts with representatives of the business and expert community, facilitates the overcoming of barriers and removing of “system” restrictions.
